Hello!

Thanks for making your way all the way over here to the about page :-)

two-finger touch is a creative project by Claire Wozniak, a poet & artist from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

The primary impetus behind my creative practice lies at the crux between sensation and experience. In our increasingly digital world, I find myself more and more interested in the way things feel—literally. I have a great sense of fascination with the tactile nature of art objects and the ways in which interaction with these objects can manifest in more forms than simply the gaze alone.

Additionally, I enjoy creating one of one apparel items that invite touch, conversation, and playfulness. I believe that everything  in this life is ultimately play and I seek to purport that ideal in a tangible and legible manner in the pieces I design and create.

I attempt to keep conversation with this amalgamation of opinion, sensation, and experience; the very things that make us uniquely and wonderfully human— seeking to memorialize the process in some way. I want to spiritualize the daily-ness of life, not because any part of it is innately holy or anything, but I think the way we experience it is.

Hope you dig it, email me if you do.

                       xoxo,

                       Claire
