frequently asked questions:
how do I order custom work?
send me a message on IG or through the form listed on the website and I will reach out to you to figure out pricing and a timeline for the completion of the work. if you are local to Pittsburgh we can also set up a consultation to discuss the project and pricing in person. pricing for each project is dependent on hours spent to create it as well as materials used.
is shipping free?
unfortunately I can only offer free local delivery for the Pittsburgh area at the time being. pricing for shipping within the U.S. starts at 12$ and may increase with the size of order.
what is needle felting?
needle felting is a dry felting technique that uses barbed needles to attach wool fibers to themselves as well as to the garment. My needle felted designs are hand-made without stencils resulting in a hand lettered look that rises slightly from the garment, giving the design a more three-dimensional and tactile feel and appearance.
how do I wash and care for a needle-felted sweater?
all of the garments I needle felt on are either 100% wool, cashmere, or cotton, and thus already require specific care in terms of washing. I recommend following the directions for laundering that are listed on the individual tags of the garments, as well as washing them inside out, with cold water, and line drying.
how will I pay for my order?
for already completed items I list my apparel and accessories on depop, those items can be purchased through the in-app payment terminal. for custom work I can accept PayPal or Venmo. All payment details will be finalized during your digital or in person consultation.
are you still making necklaces?
yes! new designs will be coming soon and necklaces will continue to be available for custom orders as well.
are you open to art trades or bartering?
yes! if you are a creator who would like to trade a work of your own for a necklace, sweater, or art piece I would be more than happy to discuss that arrangement.
do you use AI?
never! everything I make and put out into the world is 100% a product of my own brain, hands and hard labor. I have a vested interest in protecting physical art forms and a desire to do things myself. all graphics on this site were designed by me and all videos and photos were taken by me as well. all writing is also, obviously, me.
would you design work that I can sell?
I am very open to designing and creating work for other artists, musicians, or brands that I find to be suitable to work with that align with my values.
